Presently I redirect all requests from an addon domain to a new one using …

RewriteEngine on

Redirect 301 / http://www.OTHER_DOMAIN.com/

… this works great BUT now I would like to allow access to one specific subdirectory in the addon domain … I thought I could use “RewriteCond” to make an exception but apparently I suck at writing htaccess code.

So any help would be much appreciated

I am using windows 2000 server with Eclipse.

In the dost prompt, I ran the file run_sqlldrTest2.cmd and it loaded record into the Oracle database.

I tried to do the same thing in java calling the run_sqlldrTest2.cmd. In java it states the “The command line job – -executed successfully.”

However, I donot see the record being loaded into the database.

What am I doing wrong?

Unknown MySQL server host ‘localhost’ on line 7

I cannot connect to the database because: Unknown MySQL server host ‘localhost’ (1)

I noticed in mysql there is a place at bottom to add a host. But not sure what it wants? Just enter a name? But I already see localhost is added. Does it want a new one made?

Now I check the phpmyadmin and it just says server is localhost also for my DB.

Like at my old palce it was mysql7.hostname.com

I know this ain’t the right place but I have asked several forum mods but they will not upgrade my forum account to get into the members section to ask questions in the right place so Ill post them here till then.

I don’t know much about SQL server databases and\or administering them so I hope someone with more knowledge can assist me in shrinking the log file*.LDF file which is about 15GB in size and taking up space.

I was hoping someone could give me the correct commands so I can use Query Analyser to run the command.

I’m running SQL Server 2000.

Date File: Export_data

Transaction log: Export_log

Also, will running this command have any risks? Do I need to stop any service or take the database offline whilst I do this?

I have added new field ‘title_image’ in the Add/Edit category page of admin section. I’ve recently setup a file library which is mixed with video streaming on a server. The script processes the uploaded video and converts it to an FLV file using ffmpeg. The FLV file which is output can then be streamed at any time on-demand whenever a user presses play on the JW Player (flash video player).

Is this going to cause high load on the server if many people are streaming at once? These videos range from 1 megabyte to 200 megabytes.

Is there an alternative way to prevent Apache from suffering high load? Would you recommend using another server dedicated to streaming the videos? Or is it possible to use RTMP or something? (not sure on it, just heard about it). Would RTMP be an alternative method of streaming? Or is RTMP used for continuous live streaming?
