A $34k Vegas rampage, hiring of a hitman ($30k), an Aston Martin ($354k), an adult photoshoot ($30k), an escort, a butler and gadgets galore. All part of a day-in-the-life of a 15 year old New Jersey boy.
Yesterday, spendamillion visitor Chris from New Jersey dropped me an email saying, “I love the site dude!”
Great! I thanked him and sent him the usual $200
cheque (as I do anyone that writes me a complimentary email*). I
took a look at Chris’ millionaires wishlist www.spendamillion.com/chris_bee
and saw that this guy had:
Then, I then found out that Chris was only 15. ONLY 15!
Here are some edited highlights from our email conversation:
me: So Chris, you are 15?
chris: Yes, I am 15
me: So, can I ask you why you chose the items that you did for your spendamillion wishlist?
chris: Not sure. But I like fast cars, I hate my mom, and have to go to Vegas.
This got me thinking, do all 15 year olds have such millionaire daydreams? So, I took my out data-mining tools, and started digging at the sites stats, to see if I could see a snapshot of the youth of today.
If you look at this first chart you can see that Under 16’s are the least responsible with their dreams, and with £1m ($2m USD) to spend, would only invest in business an average £72,000 each, the lowest of all age groups:
Of course at that age, they have no need to think about the
future. Surely, at that age all they want to do is play
football?
So, then I got my mega-powerful data-mining tools out, to see which
age groups “bought” the most of the murky underworld item “hire a
problem solver” or hitman to you or me:
As you can see the 11-15’s are 2nd only to the 16-21’s in buying a personal hitman. Blimey!, those youngsters have got some agro inside them!
Then I data-mined the item “Page 3 photoshoot”, which is
basically an excuse to have a hot glamour model in your house for
the day:
As you can see from the graph, the under 15’s ARE suitably sexually mature (or immature depending on which way you look at it). and have a massive 34% of the ownership of the “page 3 photoshoot” item.
So there we are. Thanks Chris, for your email, and sharing how a
generation thinks!
