    Personal Information Architecture and Chandler
    Mimi Yin, OSAF
    Date: Thursday, March 09
    Time: 1:45pm - 2:30pm
    Location: Madeleine CD

Your personal information (email, events, tasks, notes and contacts) is interconnected. Shouldn't it be integrated? Mimi Yin, Interaction Designer at Open Source Applications Foundation, will discuss an information architecture for managing all that information together, with special attention to designs that deal well with high inflows, frequent workflow interruptions, and fuzzy states. The principles behind this are illustrated with release 0.6 of Chandler, an experimental calendar application which is in the process of being extended to do mail and tasks.
