The things I do:
Spray painting
Sandpaper rubbing
Tearing holes
Removing details/pockets
I also modify/mix my chains/jewelry - easy with 2 pincers.
Gonna test bleaching and acid washing.
Feel free to share if you got more ideas or know about web pages for this type of stuff.
Edit: Brilliant advice about the dishwasher soap, man! I was gonna try caustic soda since regular bleach is too weak, but will certainly try this.
I also need to get into using textile paint (the thick flowing type you can get from hobby stores. White designs on black is my new thing and I got a ton of old black stuff, and I always liked drawing/painting.
You should try spray painting. Cut your designs from cardboard or use masking tape. Thin layer silver on black is my favorite.
