Have a OneWebDay meetup in your city
Set up an evening when people can get together and talk about projects that will make the web visible. Sample projects include:- Make it easy for people to post a picture (with text about themselves) that becomes part of a giant collage — an image that is greater than the sum of its parts.
- Make it easy for people to create an online museum for OWD -- a collection of beautiful things they found online. Post the link on the wiki!
- Make it easy for people to comment about what the web means to them (how it has changed their lives), and present the comments as a scrolling page.
- Create a video tribute to a friend, tag it OneWebDay, and post it online. Post the link on the wiki!
- Create a "what I did for OWD" plaque and a place online to collect these plaques -- post the link on the OWD wiki!
