Sony VAIO VGN-TX92 (TX Series)

Sony first introduced carbon material to its notebook last year with their flagship Extreme VAIO X505. Back by popular demand, now Sony equipped all its new line notebooks (for fall 2005) with this same carbon material to significantly reduce the weight yet increase durability. This is no exception with their new TX series. With slighly bigger screen (11.1 inches screen), the new TX92 is thinner and lighter than before - only weights 2.75 lb (1.25 kg). Thanks to the carbon material (the same material that is used in mountain bike). Sony TX92 is also equipped with Fingerprint sensor, WIFI, Bluetooth and DVDRW. Please note that TX92 does not equipped with EDGE SmartWIFI option.

The major upgrade for Sony TX92 compares to the prior version TX90, TX91 or TX750 or TX650 in the United States, Sony upgrades their TX line up to utilize the latest Intel technology Core Solo processor. The new processor translates into a better power management
