A really popular guy once wrote in a song“….The Land of the Free and the Home of the Brave.” This song is now played before every major sporting event, on national holidays and at the Presidential Inauguration. USA is the home of the brave, with servicemen keeping our country safe, law enforcement keeping our local communities safe, and fire fighters who risk life & limb every time they enter a burning building. America IS THE LAND OF THE FREE!

But is it for politicians? The ones that WE, as a country, trust to carry out actions to improve our quality of life and keep us safe. It seems to me politicans are more like robots, spewing the party line because they need the backing for future help. Why can’t a Presidential Candidate have an independent, separate view for every issue? Not just say that we do not like this or that but we like this because at some point we sided with a party. I say that we get rid of Parties for good and allow the country to be run by the people and not the workings of money and power!
