New Version of MozTrans (Mozilla Firefox translation add-on) on it’s way.
Shortly after releasing an update for MozTrans – version 0.1.6 of the Mozilla Firefox translation add-on – the Interlecta software development team began working on another upgrade of the translation tool.
The next version will feature an implementation of the service subscription model, where a user needs to activate their application before they can start using it.
Previous versions of MozTrans used the same login name and password for all users. Starting in version 0.1.7 activation will be a fully automated process, where the application will compile an encrypted string of letters and numbers using browser specific data and no user private information. The code generated will be sent to our servers at the click of just one button.
The above change is necessitated by the rapidly increasing number of users who download the application, which makes it impossible for over 1700 users to sign in with the same details.
Versions 0.1.6 and 1.0.7 also feature improved functionality, while the bugs found by our QA department or reported to our support department have been fixed. New language pairs have also been added, increasing the number of available languages to 36, and the total number of language pairs to over 360.
