The Joe Sharino Band's extensive variety of music makes it easy to please everyone! Joe is happy to consult with each Bride and Groom to help make the event flow. Joe Sharino acts as emcee for all announcements, introductions of: the Bridal Party and Bride and Groom, toasts, first dance, cake cutting, bouquet and garter toss, Father-Daughter and/or Mother-Son dances. We play CD's or tapes before the band performs and during breaks. While most bands take three breaks in a four hour performance, the Joe Sharino Band takes only 2 breaks which gives you more music for your event and less "down time". Joe will help you formulate a schedule for your wedding reception that is accurate and designed to make sure everything flows without the 'stop and start' disorganization which most receptions have. We also provide a wireless microphone for your announcements.

Wedding Comments From Brides And Grooms

Note: this first comment was written by the bride from a wedding that we did in March of 2002 in Sun Valley, Idaho. She hired us sight unseen purely on the basis of the comments from other brides and grooms below. The bride (Kristin Sweeney) wrote these words after her wedding reception to someone who was interested in hiring the Joe Sharino Band who also had never seen us and lived out of the area. The interested person contacted several of the people who comment below and eventually hired us sight unseen just as Kristin did. Here are Kristin Sweeney's comments written to someone who hadn't seen us:

"I totally understand your nervousness about hiring someone sight unseen/unheard, but I can tell you I would have ZERO reservations about booking Joe. Joe knows weddings so well and does such an amazing job of getting the crowd into it and keeping the party going and more importantly of making the whole evening run smoothly. A wedding is not like a concert in that sense--they need to kind of "run the show" in my opinion (know when to do toasts, when to do your first dance, how to get everyone dancing after all of the toasts, how to take breaks at a time that doesn't seem like an invitation for all the guests to go home etc.) and they do it all.
