Thanks for checking out these Flintstone coloring pages! The Flintstones are another one of those great cartoon classics that will be loved for generations to come, even though it was produced for only 6 years between 1960 and 1966. It was an animated cartoon of course, but it was a sort of mock sitcom with laugh tracks, etc. It was set in the town of Bedrock, in Stone Age times. The Flintstones' lifestyle was, however, remarkably similar to modern American life, simply with different objects serving the same functions. For example, round stones were used as bowling balls. Cars were made of wood and had stone wheels; pterodactyls functioned as airplanes, etc.



The main characters were The Flintstone family: Fred, Wilma, Pebbles, Dino (their pet dinosaur who acted remarkably like a dog), and Baby Puss (their pet Saber toothed tiger); and the Rubble family: Barney, Betty, their adopted son Bamm-Bamm, and Hoppy (their pet "hopparoo"--apparently an invented prehistoric kangaroo).

When I was a kid, perhaps the cartoon and kind of toy I was most incredibly passionate about was Transformers. So I'm very excited to bring to you today this collection of sheets taken from Transformers coloring books.



I collected Transformers toys from Hasbro when I was a kid. I think I had all of the main characters and many other minor characters. I even had the huge Metroplex transformer that turned into a city/Decepticon base.



The animated Transformer series was also incredibly cool! I get excited remembering it. I bet you can find it on Youtube.

Lilo and Stitch is one the great new films from Disney in recent years. Stitch is actually an extraterrestrial named 626 who was created by a mad scientist. He was exiled to life on a space asteroid, but he escaped to Earth, where he looks enough like a dog to pass himself off as one. And people fall for it! He is adopted by Lilo, and orphaned child being raised by her older sister. But the mad scientist comes looking for Stitch to recapture him.
