Everything has been pretty smooth since then. The server has only had issues twice that I can remember. Can’t really complain.</p> <p>However, recently, a majority of the domains I host had issues with their sent emails being flagged as spam. After a little bit of research, I found that the default ip address that my accounts were set up on was actually shared among other resellers on the same server! Now, I’m not expecting the world from HostGator on this reseller plan. However, I do think it would be a safe assumption that when I sign up with a reseller account they would at least give me an ip address that is not in use by anyone else.</p> <p>I have since bought 4 other ip addresses for other client’s SSL needs. I would like to avoid going through the hassle of buying another ip and then having to have all of my other domains updated to that ip. First off, I came to Hostgator from a bad experience with AWH (for those that dont know, they can look it up with google or something). AWH in my opinion did not have very good customer service/support, in most cases just simple questions would take a couple days or more to answer and by then i found the answer online from someone complaining about AWH, go figure. Many times i have contacted customer support here and they are always glad to assist me with anything and everything i throw at them, most of which are issues ive either caused or just flat out didnt understand at the time, but none the less they were there to help. You just cant beat live chat and phone support, and then on top of that hostgator has a ticket system that never really took too long for me to get a responce to. System outages, slow response to technical problems, slow server speed. But the icing on the cake was them cutting my account off at 50Gb storage space when my package was allowed up to 500Gb.</p> <p>Anyway, I was quite unhappy with them, and did a lot of searching before finding HG, and reading these forums before my move.
