Most importantly, we split all costs down the middle like rent and utilities. We even take turns to cook for each other, sometimes cooking means take-out or McDonalds. And for the first 7 years of our relationship I paid for almost everything…he’s only just now begun to pay when we go out, now that he graduated and has a job with Oracle…which I’m not ruining either.
