Can I put more than one image into a single review?
Yes, you can. There are a couple of ways to achieve this, either:
Use the Stumbleupon Photoblog It! facility to generate the code for each image (one at a time) and employ cut & paste to join the code together, or:
You can hand-craft the code to include your images, as in the following example:
<a href="http://www.stumbleupon.com/buttons.php"><img src="http://www.stumbleupon.com/images/su_micro.gif" /></a> &t;a href="http://www.stumbleupon.com/buttons.php"><img src="http://www.stumbleupon.com/images/stumble7.gif" /></a> <a href="http://www.stumbleupon.com/buttons.php"><img src="http://www.stumbleupon.com/images/stumble1.gif" /></a>
Note that you should always include a link back to the originating source, and include appropriate accreditation (as a matter of etiquette).
How do I put pictures/images on my pages?
StumbleUpon provides a very simple means of adding images to your pages - photoblogging.
When signed on to SU, simply right-click (ctrl+click on Mac) on the image that you wish to add to your pages, and you will see an option in the resulting menu to StumbleUpon Photoblog It! (StumbleUpon: Blog This on IE).
Select this option, and a review box is launched for you, already populated with the code that shows the image and links to it's source. Simply press Post new blog.
You can add a comment (and tags) before you submit, or edit the entry later.
Note that some images will not add to your pages. The photoblog facility does not work for images that are displayed using Flash, for example. Neither does it work when the owner has taken steps to protect their image from being copied.
Can I put my own images on my pages?
Yes - you can. But your images must be hosted on the web in an accessible form. Once your images are online, you can simply use the photoblog facility to add your pictures to your pages, as you would any other image on the web.
There are many free image hosting services available, and you should choose the one that you prefer, but make sure that the service you choose allows for hotlinking images.
Some of the services that other Stumblers have successfully used to do just this are: Photobucket, ImageShack and Flicker.
