hello!

i wanna know how to record the things i play from the playstation 3 and the tv to a computer, i have both composite and hdmi inputs and outputs on the tv, do i need a special card or something?, or can i use a camera?, or a dvd recorder, but i want to make from the vido an mpg or avi.

There are a couple of ways to do this. First off, you need a Capture card, you can find these at Best buy for around $ 100. These will only record with composite (RCA jacks) so the quality is not terrific. If you wan’t to record in true HD, there is currently only one method I am aware of, and that is the HD PVR by Hauppage (http://hauppage.com/site/products/data_hdpvr.html). This will let you connect your Playstation 3 through HDMI or Component cables (RGB) and will give you a much higher resolution and quality.

Question by Adonian: is the ps3 3d upgrade compatible with the panasonic 3d hdtv?

I know this is probably a dumb question, but I have a PS3, and it is 3D capable (or will be with software update).

Panasonic gives a pair of glasses with their 3D HDTV’s, Samsung doesn’t.

WILL the PS3 work in 3D with ANY of the new 3D tv’s?

I don’t want to pay for the TV AND GLASSES separately, and besides I have seen both Samsung and Panasonic 3D systems, and the Panasonic looks better (and costs $ 500 less).

How to Fix the PS3 No Sound

So your PS3 is refusing to play any audio? Well to say that sucks would be an understatement. Its really hard to play many games since you can’t hear whats happening. And for music and vids? Well its not any good for that if its does not have any song. Here are some simple tips fix your PS3 no sound problem.

1) Check for loose cables. If you find any push them back in. Be sure to check the connections on the TV too.

2) Check the TV to see if it is on mute.

3) Check the TV’s settings. Sometimes it is not the PS3 that is to blame, try using the PS3 on another TV, if you get audio then maybe something is wrong with the first TV.

4) Try using another cable to connect your PS3 to the TV. Maybe the cable is defective.

5) Sometimes the console’s settings can cause the PS3 no sound. Try resetting the console. To do this press and hold the power button for 5 seconds until you hear 2 beeps.

If all these don’t give you a PS3 no sound
