Robot Chicken is one of
the most innovative and stylish adult cartoons around. Employing
the old-school stop-motion animation style, Seth Green’s Robot
Chicken uses toys, action figures, dolls, and claymation in its
sketches.
The Frankensteinian premise involves a mad scientist who finds a
road-killed chicken that he takes back to his lab, turns it into a
poultry cyborg, then straps it to a chair and prods open its eyes
with a speculum, forcing it to watch wall-to-wall TV monitors. From
here, the show moves in a million odd directions, featuring
countless cameos
in its sketches that most often parody different aspects of pop
culture
