Sri Sravanthi Movies banner is producing a film with Ram and Genelia in lead roles in the direction of Surender Reddy (director of the block buster ‘Kick’). Sravanthi Ravi Kishore is producer. The yet to be titled film was launched yesterday at Rama Naidu Studios, Hyderabad. Many celebrities of the industry including Dasari Narayana Rao, Shyam Prasad Reddy and Ravi Teja attended the function. Regular shooting of the film will begin from May 1.

Ram Charan’s fourth film is speculated to be in the direction of Dharani. As soon as the actor’s current schedules with ‘Bommarillu’ Bhaskar get over, he would start indulging in the new one. Under the production of RB Chowdhary’s Super Good Films banner, the film is expected to mark Dharani’s comeback after the flop of ‘Bangaram,’ his previous direction.



The Charan-Dharani combination is likely to strike an effect. While Charan is an able actor, Dharani is well experienced in moulding likeable characters, thanks to evidences of his work with Tamil superstar Vijay and his other directions- ‘Dhill’, ‘Kuruvi’ and ‘Ghilli.’



Actor Charan is expected to strive for public appreciation once again after ‘Magadheera’ and the film is expected to go onto its production stage in March, 2010. Revelation of other details as to the remaining cast and the crew will probably take some time.

Shruthi Haasan is ready to tread her father Kamal Haasan’s path towards glam-sham and success. She started off with a promotional song for her father’s film ‘Eenadu’ and now getting ready to stand on her own feet.



Shruthi- the musician and lyricist, was signed by Prakash Kovelamudi to star with Siddharth in a fantasy flick. Now that Charan-Bhaskar’s tentatively named ‘Orange’ is getting ready to go on floors, Shruthi is said to have secured a place in it. Under the able guidance of Bhaskar it wouldn’t scare her at all. According to the current plans, November 30 to December 15 would see her busy shooting.



It is supposed to be a flashback sequence. Shruthi would surely strive for recognition in this big Anjana Productions flick. Language will surely not be a barrier to her hard work and determination. Her audacity to act in Telugu even with less command over the language shows her passion for cinema, especially Telugu Cinema.

“Devadasu” pair Ram and Ileana, who made their debut with the film, will be seen once again together. Surender Reddy, the director of the block buster Kick, will be directing the film. The film is expected for launch in February, 2010. The other details of the film are yet to be known.

Ever since his journey began in the Telugu Cinema, Ram Charan seems to be very particular about selecting movies with unique and powerful storylines. Recently, he expressed that his father's “Punnami Nagu” is one of favourite’s films and is very much interested to act if someone remakes it.



The latest buzz is that Ram Charan is now interested in the Tamil film “Paiya,” which is still in making. Linguswamy, the director of “Pandem Kodi” is directing the movie; Kathi and Tammanna are playing lead roles.



It has been in talks among film industry folks that Ram Charan talked to Linguswamy regarding the remake of the film in Telugu. If this is true, this project may begin after Ram Charan’s third moive which is being directed by Bommarillu Bhasker.
