Google is all about Data and a lot of it. Since the beginning to its quest to serve to people’s search results, it has accumulated data and is still doing it. Majority of its products thrive on extensive user data. It has been refining many of its policies that can aid better to its data collection process. Recent addition to this was Google’s privacy policy where it clearly stated that it has rights to gather any of its user’s data from its various products and use it across any of its platforms. When I think of Google Alert the first thing that comes to my mind is Genie. Every time you set up a Google Alert, it says “Your wish is my command” and gets you your desired results.
