Numerous tests have been carried out in terms of the cleanliness of bamboo sheets.  In more recent years, the China Industrial Testing Center carried out extensive research on bamboo sheets and attempted to infect them with the Staphylococcus aureous bacteria over 24 hours.  After the 24 hour incubation period hand ended, the study showed that the 100% bamboo sheets eliminated or repelled 99.8% of the Staphylococcus aureous bacteria, making bamboo sheets one of the best antibacterial sheets available on the market today.

In terms of luxury, it is extremely difficult to find bed linen that matches the quality of high grade bamboo sheets.  There are many sheets available that are created from a mixture of cotton and bamboo and whilst these provide a great deal of comfort, only the true 100% bamboo sheets offer the highest quality comfort.  Resembling and taking on many properties of other quality sheets, namely silk and Egyptian cotton sheets, bamboo sheets have all of their positive qualities but almost none of their negative ones.  Created in a variety of different methods, most commonly knitted and woven, bamboo sheets provide the utmost elegance in the bedroom and offer only the greatest of sleeping comfort.
